Tsumori Chisato presents a more exhuberant yet elegant version of the "Wool Melton" Coat directly inspired by the flaboyance of Guatemala with this winter coat. It presents avivid red texured wool and mohair fabric contrasted with a purple satin linning. Its front mohair panel higlights a felted wool effect enhanced by two multicolored pockets on the chest. Two raglan pockets, an oversize Pierrot collar, a front snap buttons fastening and an asymetric bottom hem are completing this feminine runway look. Oversize cut.

When asked about her customer, Japanese designer Tsumori Chisato often replies with good humour that she designs for herself. A graduate of the Bunka Fashion College in Tokyo, she started her namesake line in 1990 and since 2003, Tsumori Chisato shows her collections during Paris Fashion Week. She has translated her childhood dream of being a mangaka into her signature style, an artful mix of luxurious fabrics, illustrated whimsy and designs for a woman who knows that being a grown-up means finding the perfect balance between fun and sophistication, and for a man who knows how to blend a perfect touch of whimsy to highlight his good taste and character.
